This 6 Year Old Boy Makes $11 Million A Year From Youtube

Over the last 3 years Ryan, a 6 year old boy, who is still in elementary school has become a Youtube sensation, with his videos creating a lot of buzz on the internet. In these videos which are posted on his Ryan’s Youtube channel, Ryan ToysReview, the young boy opens and reviews all kinds of toys.

Late last year, TheVerge.com reported that Ryan ToysReview was the most popular YouTube channel in the United States. Business Insider also recently profiled Ryan (pictured), ranking him the 8th highest paid Youtube star of 2017.

At the time of writing, Ryan’s YouTube channel has close to 20 million subscribers, and his videos have been watched almost 20 billion times! Ryan did have a lot of help from his mother who created the Youtube channel in March of 2015 and would record videos of her son opening up toys she had bought him for birthdays and holidays.

Their channel came into the lime light four months later after a particular video of Ryan opening up a giant, toy-stuffed Easter egg of Disney-Pixar’s Lightning McQueen caused the total views on Ryan ToysReview to quadruple.

Today that one video of Ryan opening the giant Lightning McQueen Easter egg has been viewed almost one billion times! The level of viewership that Ryan ToysReview is reeling in comes with a huge amount of money. Off the advertising revenue alone, Ryan’s YouTube channel generates close to $1 million dollars a month!

According to Forbes’ annual list of the highest earning Youtube celebrities, Ryan’s family-run YouTube channel, “Ryan ToysReview” grossed around $11 million in pretax income in 2017.

In an exclusive interview with TubeFilter Media, Ryan’s mother explained how her family’s lucrative business got started.

“Ryan was watching a lot of toy review channels — some of his favourites are EvanTubeHD and Hulyan Maya — because they used to make a lot of videos about Thomas The Tank Engine, and Ryan was super into Thomas,” she said.

“One day, he asked me, ‘How come I’m not on YouTube when all the other kids are?’ So we just decided — yeah, we can do that. Then, we took him to the store to get his very first toy — I think it was a Lego train set — and it all started from there,” she continued.
