In the last few years Canadian singer, songwriter and pop star Justin Bieber has become increasingly vocal about his Christian faith. When He started off many may have thought it was a fad but til today the celebrity pop star continues to use his global influence to advance the message of the hope found in the good news message of Jesus Christ.
This Easter, he took to Instagram celebrating Easter stressing that Easter is about one thing and one thing only and that’s Jesus Christ. In the post the 24 year old singer began by saying, “Jesus has changed my life.” He went on to share that:
“Easter is not about a bunny, its a reminder that my Jesus died on the cross for my sins and then rose from the dead defeating death!” he wrote. “I believe this happened and it changes everything! I am set free from bondage and shame.”
He rounded up the message saying, “I am a child of the Most High God and he loves me exactly where I am, how I am, for who I am.”

In this post above shared towards the end of 2017, Bieber auctioned one of his paintings, which depicted the cross of Christ, the auctioning of the painting entitled, “Calvary” was to provide relief to victims of the California wildfires.
In this post above He shared a similar message saying, “Jesus is changing me from the inside out everyday!” Through the post He encouraged fans to look to God for help in times of trouble:
“Do you feel you have [exhausted] all options? Do you feel helpless? Do you feel like you’re never good enough? What if I told you that there’s a God that’s willing to meet you wherever you’re at? What if I told you he could take away your pain, shame, [guilt] and fears.”
The US based singer’s continued use of his global influence as a platform through which to share the gospel is a real life working model of how each and every believer anywhere can use his or her influence and work as a modern day pulpit from which they share the timeless message of Christ’s saving power.
Just as Christ admonished his followers, Justin is playing his role being a light of hope in a troubled world and salt preserving and adding flavour to men’s lives.
